Judias negras con pasas y arándanos

Cocina improvisada le llamo yo a cuando abro la nevera o la despensa, pillo lo que hay y con eso me invento algo para comer. Normalmente me pasa porque no sé planear la compra, así que unas veces tengo de todo otras veces casi de nada. Y por otro lado me aburre comer siempre lo mismo. Mi solución ver que es lo que tengo a mano y dejarme llevar. Hoy he hecho un plato muy sencillo y fácil de hacer. 

Ingredientes:

Medio tetrabrik de judías negras cocidas

Una cebolla

5 champiñones

Unas pocas pasas y arándanos deshidratados que tenía restos de un paquete de frutos secos variados

Sal, pimienta y perejil al gusto.

Preparación: cortar y sofreír la cebolla, mientras limpiar y cortar los champiñones. Añadirlos a la sartén, salpimentar y poner el perejil. Cuando empieza a estar doradito añadir las pasas y arándanos. Cuando todo esta doradito añadir las judías negras y dejar cocer hasta que se beban el agua. Tenía ganas de comer judías pero no me apetecían las judías de siempre. Ha sido una buena opción para cuando te apetece mezclar dulce y salado. Me las he comido más a gusto.

Día de la Tierra: ¿y qué diablos significa eso?

La tierra es un sistema extremadamente complejo, como cualquier sistema de la naturaleza desde el átomo hasta el universo. Como geóloga de vocación, aunque desgraciadamente no en ejercicio, y tras muchos años de estudio, he podido desenmarañar un poquito de esa complejidad, y de lo poquito que he llegado a vislumbrar, en cada proceso y fenómeno natural que ocurre en este planeta reside una belleza y una fuerza capaz de fascinar a cualquiera que quiera prestar atención. Una belleza y una fuerza tal, que las antiguas civilizaciones no pudieron mas que venerar y respetar, porque no había mas ritmo que el ritmo de la tierra, fuera el ritmo constante de las estaciones o los ritmos inconstantes e inesperados de volcanes, terremotos, pequeñas edades de hielo, o cualquier otra demostración de poder desmesurado de nuestra querida madre Tierra. Y así, desde los celtas a las culturas nómadas del desierto, hasta las culturas de las grandes praderas, el hombre vivió en harmonía con este planeta nuestro. Pero a veces me pregunto ¿Qué es la Tierra para el hombre del siglo XXI? Ahora que conocemos el porqué de las mareas, de los volcanes y terremotos, del ciclo del agua, la razón de las estaciones. En esta edad del hombre, ahora que sabemos tanto, es ahora cuando menos entendemos. El hombre vive más alejado que nunca de la naturaleza y se nos olvida que la Tierra no pertenece al hombre sino al contrario, como muy bien dijo en su momento el Jefe Seatle. Se nos olvida que somos nosotros los que debemos adaptarnos como cualquier otro ser vivo que pretenda perdurar. Nuestro mayor logro adaptativo es la inteligencia y sin embargo al mismo tiempo es esa inteligencia la que nos convierte en una especie arrogante capaz de desafiar las leyes de la naturaleza. Construimos presas para controlar los ciclos de los ríos, ponemos satélites en órbita y viajamos a la mismísima luna, estudiamos el comportamiento de agujeros negros y supernovas, construimos edificios capaces de resistir terremotos, pero por muy listos que nos creamos, por muy poderosos que nos sintamos no podremos evitar que un volcán entre en erupción, que un terremoto suceda, que llueva sin cesar o que la desertización avance si eso es lo que tiene que suceder. Así que en este día de la Tierra, en esta era nuestra del marketing donde todo son campañas de publicidad, donde te dicen "recicla y planta un árbol, cómprate un coche eléctrico, veras que bien te vas a sentir". En esta sociedad en la que vivimos donde casi todo huele a manipulación y es tan difícil creer en nada, yo prefiero pensar que creer. Os propongo que penséis que significa el planeta tierra para vosotros y qué lugar ocupamos en él. En el concepto de Tierra como Naturaleza, como un sistema complejo en el que no somos la única especie, ni siquiera la especie elegida. Tan solo una especie más.

Burning thoughts I can’t make words

Tell me what I can do, to take all this words out of my chest. I feel them burning like hell. But as all of them are burning I can not see what they are about. I can only see the flames. I just feel the pain. Tell me how I write them, because I know I have things to say but they are deep buried in the shadows of this tower that I made myself. I can't see them, shy thoughts sneaking out of the corner of my eyes. I feel them burning inside making ashes of my heart. Tell me how I found them. Please tell me, I need to release this fire. These words that burn inside. They burn, they burn…. they burn so aloud!

Buccaneer’s handbook

Now and then I found myself explaining to my friends what a torrent file is or how to manage several direct downloads. This is a little user's guide for my friends or anyone reading that. What you download is not my business.

There are two ways to download stuff in a clean and easy way.

1. By torrent
2. By direct download

Well maybe there are more but I know and I like these two, mainly because the software you need requires very few resources in your computer, you can set how much band width you want to use (if you leave it with no limit it can go very very very quick), it is safe no spyware, no advertising. And you can always check other user's comments about the files. See the comments, is a must is you are going to download and install software. For music or video files, is different, the worst that can happen is when it is the wrong file.

Although torrent and direct download are different you just have to follow to simple steps with both of them. And in both of them you just need two basics: a downloading link and software to take care of your downloadings. So, first you need a link search page. Second you need to install a program to manage the files that you want to download. You can put as many files as you want. The program will take care of it in order.

 

Direct download

Download and install JDownloader. Did it? Ok, now let's go to search something to download.

Go to filestube page. Look for something you fancy to download it. Just copy the link (ctrl+c). If JDownloader is open, then the link will show up in JDownloader automatically in the second tab of the program. I think is called LinkGrabber. Wait until the link is check. If it goes green the link is working. Look down and click to add it. Now it will appear in the download tab, the first one. Wait a few seconds or minutes, it depends on the server. With some servers you will need to put the captchas. With Mediafire, Megaupload and Rapidshare it starts automatically, no captchas. If I can I choose them.

A very handy characteristic of JDownloader is that it also allows you to download videos from youtube as a video or mp3.

Here is a link for TV Shows and movies that is my favourite. MiniShares. Very good quality videos in a very few megas and the latest shows the same day.

 

Torrent

Download and install utorrent. Once you did that you are ready to search for whatever you would like to download. The beauty about torrent files is that you can find very unusual stuff that you can not buy even if you wanted.

I use two web pages The Pirate Bay (pirate bay website can be unavailable in your area or with your provider, no worries, just google it and find a different link) and isoHunt to search torrent files. Go to one of them. Search a file, look if it have plenty seeders. Seeders are the people that are sharing the file with you. The most seeders a file have the better. But anyway some times with rare material a few seeders is also good. And keep an eyed that the number of lechers is less than the seeders if it is possible. You can also check the comments of other users to know if the file is what is said. Click the download torrent link and allow utorrent to open the file. That's it. When the file is complete then you will start to share it and you will be a seeder instead of a lecher.
